This gallery shows off some of the flaming pumpkins creations I've worked with over the past couple of years. Spending a couple of hours carving a pumpkin only to put a tea light in it seemed quite anit-climatic. In 2007 I began using gasoline, kerosene and lamp oil as a way to light my pumpkins and produce an effect that was completely unique. The flames are easily three feet high and can last nearly an hour. They roar and hiss and the fire spews forth and the pumpkin flesh cooks from the inside.

My carving abilites are much improved since my first attempts and generating a wall of fire is now quite a simple matter. There's all sorts of carvings to look at such as Edward Scissorhands, Michael Meyes, Jason, Pirate Skulls, Ghosts, Hannibal, Jigsaw and Demented Clowns, just to name a few.
